I'm still here, I'm just moody and scanner-challenged.  I went camping all month and tried to write as much as possible.  I experimented a little with Conté crayon, also.  It didn't really come out well, but I'm still getting the hang of it. I'm going to post some of my writing.  I'm starting with my main story Kiraken.  I think it gets better as it goes on.  I'll post the next few episodes tomorrow.

Today, I found out that the Drawing I midterm is next Saturday.  We each get ten minutes to talk with the professor and show him what we consider our best four drawings (from class or homework, one of which must be a gesture drawing).  I have no idea what I might pick, but I'm not bad at the gesture drawing and I did a few good drawings today to practice ellipses and foreshortening.  This week's homework is pretty involved, if I come up with something good enough, I'll use that. Sorry I haven't posted some of my drawings, there's been a change in the library at school.  Now if you want to use the library, you have to sign in with your school
